Applying for a grant
Each application is considered on its merits. We are looking for strong applications that will lead to good projects. Here is some general guidance:
Stronger Elements | Weaker Elements |
A one-off grant that addresses a need and will provide enduring benefits to our community | Activities that other charities or statutory bodies already provide |
Contributions from your own funds and other sources | Applicants with significant unused financial reserves |
Bringing something to the Army community that you have had success with elsewhere | Having no track record to support your proposal |
An explanation of how an Army Central Fund grant will make a difference | Looking to us to support your core running costs or salaries |
Support to those in greatest need or that will bring benefit across the whole community (especially to Junior Ranks and their families) | Proposals that only benefit a small cohort |
